After the successful exit for his company, he became Vice President Business Development and Product Management at a software company based in Germany.

Neil is the Head of Avaya's FIFA World Cup™ Programme, with responsibility for Avaya's converged communication network implementation and marketing programs for the 2006 FIFA World Cup™. Neil is based out of Avaya's offices in Guildford, UK and Frankfurt, Germany. Neil joined Avaya in 2001 as director of corporate communications for Europe, the Middle East and Africa. During this time he became involved in promoting Avaya's involvement in the 2002 FIFA World Cup Korea/Japan™. After the tournament he spent 3-years in a variety of senior communications roles at Avaya's headquarters in Basking Ridge, New Jersey Prior to joining Avaya, Neil was Global Head of Media and PR for ICL where he played an important role in repositioning the company from a provider of mainframe computers and PCs to a leading provider of IT Services. Before joining ICL, Neil worked at Siebe plc, and British Aerospace (BAe). Whilst there he helped commercialize the UK's national satellite remote sensing centre and led BAe PR programs for high profile space projects such as the Giotto Halley's Comet interceptor and the Hubble Space Telescope. Born in India, Neil has a degree in Law from the University of Sheffield. He is married with three children, plays football when his legs let him and is a keen supporter of Manchester United.

Christian Morawietz is Head of Marketing at Betty TV AG in Munich. While studying economical mathematics he set up the company Sky Connect Datenübertragungs GmbH, European's first ASTRA NET provider. Having sold the company to RNK GmbH, Christian joined deuromedia GmbH as Head of Marketing and Corporate Development. He was responsible for the management of Loonland Online GmbH, a subsidiary of TV Loonland AG in Munich. In 2001, Christian joined FAST TV SERVER AG as Head of Marketing. After three years with Fast TV, he took over his responsabilies at Betty in 2004.

She joined from BT Rich Media where she spent nine months as Chief Operations Officer. With a background in setting up 3 Austria and negotiating 3 UK’s 3G mobile content delivery platform Heide has previously managed large complex consulting assignments in 12 countries and introduced one of Europe’s first content online subscription services on behalf of Bertelsmann. She was also responsible for MCI Worlcom’s mobile activities in the German speaking countries and part of the international UMTS bid team.

Hans Hoffmann joined the Institute fuer Rundfunktechnik (IRT) in 1993 as research staff in Television production technologies department. In February 2000 he moved as Senior Engineer to the Technical Department of the European Broadcasting Union in Geneva.
He has chaired the EBU project groups P/BRRTV and P/PITV which both were involved in new technology innovations in television. He became chairman of the SMPTE technology committee N26 on Networks and File Management in which a number of production standards have been developed. Since about two years he is substantially involved in the EBU technical activities on High Definition in Television Production and Emission. In 2002 he has been appointed to Engineering Director Television in the SMPTE and chairs the Television steering committee. He is a Fellow and member of the SMPTE, member of the IEEE, SID and FKT.
Chieteuk Ahn, ETRI

Chieteuk Ahn is vice-president and a principal member of technical staff in the Digital Broadcasting Research Division of ETRI (Electronics and Telecommunications Research Institute), Korea. He received his BE and ME from Seoul National University, Korea, in Feb. 1980 and 1982, respectively, and Ph. D. from University of Florida, U. S. A. in Aug. 1991. Since he joined ETRI in 1982, he has been involved in developing digital switching system, MPEG standardization and broadcasting technologies. His recent work has been focused on MPEG technology as well as on developing multidimensional interactive multimedia technologies in broadcasting and communications. He has served as an HOD of MPEG-Korea and SC29-Korea since 1996. Appointed Director of Distribution and Development in January 2001, Jacques Raynaud was then promoted to Deputy Managing Director, responsible for the marketing and distribution of the television channels Eurosport, throughout Europe , and, Eurosportnews, on a worldwide basis in September of the same year. Joining the BBC in the late eighties, he worked in national TV news and current affairs until joining BBC Online in 1997 to become Homepage Editor. In 2000, Scott took charge of all BBC programme-related interactivity. During his four years as Head of iTV, the BBC reached more viewers on more platforms with more services than any other interactive TV broadcaster in the world. Scott left the BBC last year to form his own interactive media consultancy, SGA, specialising in interactive TV, Video On Demand, PVRs, and digital TV channels.
